The Thar is a 4-seater, two forward-facing front seats and two front-facing rear seats. It is a 2-door SUV, so rear access requires tilting the front seat forward.
Yes. A 6-speed torque converter automatic is available with both the mHawk 130 diesel and the mStallion 150 petrol engines. The entry-level D117 diesel is manual-only.
It has a genuine part-time 4WD system with a manual-shift transfer case that includes a low-ratio gear, a proper off-road setup, not simply an all-wheel drive system designed for road use.
The Thar is rated for a water wading depth of 650 mm with ground clearance of 226 mm, and an approach angle of 41.2 degrees and a departure angle of 36 degrees, as confirmed in the official spec sheet.
Yes, both are supported on the 26.03 cm touchscreen. On the LXT variant, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work both wired and wirelessly; on the AXT, connectivity is wired only.
