The Mahindra XUV 7XO makes a strong statement with its bold exterior featuring half C-shaped LED DRLs, trapezoidal LED headlamps, a revised grille, new 19-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED tail-lamps. The 2.2-litre diesel engine is tuned for torque, generating 182 hp and 450 Nm, making it strong enough for loaded drives or highway overtakes. Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic, allowing buyers flexibility based on preference. Select diesel variants also feature all-wheel drive, improving traction and stability on challenging terrains.

Mahindra offers two new interior themes: Lumina White and Chestnut Brown, giving a modern and elegant vibe. Every row receives attention, including the third, ensuring six- or seven-seat layouts feel equally comfortable. A coast-to-coast triple-screen setup dominates the dashboard, combining the digital instrument cluster, infotainment display, and a dedicated passenger screen. 

Ventilated high-density foam seats, three ambient lighting modes, and solar shield glass improve comfort and wellbeing, keeping the cabin cooler and serene. The panoramic sunroof enhances the airy feel, while dual-zone climate control ensures personalized comfort. 

Infotainment

The XUV 7XO raises the cabin experience with an advanced infotainment suite. A coast-to-coast triple-screen setup combines a digital instrument cluster, central infotainment, and passenger screen, all powered by the Snapdragon 8155 chip. The system runs Mahindra’s Cinemascape interface, letting occupants stream OTT content, watch live sports, or navigate simultaneously using BYOPD support. 

Audio is handled by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system producing 1400W, with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for a cinematic experience. VenueScapes feature audio profiles inspired by iconic concert halls and stadiums, while vehicle noise compensation actively reduces outside sounds. Integration with ChatGPT and Alexa allows voice control of navigation, media, and vehicle functions. Comfort-oriented features such as wireless charging, front passenger Boss Mode, and multiple ambient lighting profiles enhance convenience.

Mahindra has also reworked suspension using DaVinci dampers for a composed ride. With seamless ChatGPT and Alexa integration, occupants can control functions or stream content effortlessly.  The Level 2 ADAS system, powered by Mobileye 6, covers radar detection up to 250 meters, providing lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking. A unique 8MP camera with advanced machine learning can detect cows and two-wheelers, a first in the Indian SUV space. 

Standard features like ISOFIX mounts, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and multiple airbags add to the overall safety package.
