The XUV 7XO offers ARAI-certified fuel economy ranging from 13-17 kmpl depending on powertrain and transmission.

The 2.0L turbo-petrol returns 15 kmpl (manual) and 13 kmpl (automatic), while the 2.2L diesel delivers a more frugal 17 kmpl (manual) and 16.6 kmpl (automatic).

Other safety features include multiple airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
