On the inside, the Punch could get a larger 10.25‑inch central touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a two‑spoke steering wheel. Prices could range between ₹6 lakh and ₹11 lakh. Its key rivals include the Maruti Ignis, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.

Hyundai Venue Facelift

The Hyundai Venue facelift is set to launch during the 2025 festive season with possible bold styling elements derived from the Creta and Alcazar. Inside, the Venue could get a dual-screen setup, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Powertrain options will remain unchanged with a 1.2 litre petrol, 1.0 litre turbo petrol, and 1.5 litre diesel engines, paired with manual, iMT, or DCT gearboxes. Prices are expected to start around ₹8.5 lakh and go up to ₹15.5 lakh ex-showroom, and it will rival the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Skoda Kylaq, and Tata Nexon.

VinFast VF6

Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast, after turning many heads at the 2025 Auto Expo, is set to launch its first EV6 around September 2025. Positioned as a compact 5‑seater C1‑segment EV SUV, its 59.6 kWh battery offers a WLTP-certified range of 399 km. Prices are expected to range from ₹18 to 25 lakh ex‑showroom. The VF6 will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, the upcoming Maruti e Vitara, and MG ZS EV.

VinFast VF7

The VF7 is VinFast’s mid‑size electric SUV aiming for public launch in August 2025, possibly alongside the VF6. It will be offered in a FWD variant with 201 PS and 310 Nm torque (450 km range), and an AWD variant with 354 PS and 500 Nm torque (431 km range). Battery capacity across trims sits at 70.8 to 75.3 kWh LFP, with DC fast charging up to 150 kW. On the inside, it gets a 15-inch infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, HUD, leatherette upholstery, wireless charging, 360° camera, eight airbags, and Level 2 ADAS. Ex‑showroom prices are expected to range from ₹35 lakh to ₹50 lakh.

Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric

Set to hit Indian roads around August 15, 2025, the Mercedes CLA Electric (CLA 250+ and top CLA 350 4MATIC EQ variants) is built on the advanced MMA platform featuring an 800‑volt architecture and a two‑speed rear drive. The CLA 250+ produces 200 kW (270 PS) and a WLTP range of up to 792 km, with top trims promising 0-100 km/h in roughly 4.9 sec. Charging is quick, with 300 km of range in 10 minutes via a high‑power DC charger.

It boasts premium touches such as a panoramic sliding sunroof, aerodynamic wheels, adaptive damping suspension, active lane/brake assist, keyless entry with hands‑free boot opening, and dual‑zone climate control, among other features. New Mahindra Bolero Neo

Mahindra has been extensively testing the new Bolero Neo lately, as test mules have been spotted. Expected to be unveiled on August 15, 2025, this SUV could get a revised and more muscular styling. The new Bolero Neo could be based on a new platform, and powertrain options are likely to be carried over from the existing model or derived from the Thar. Prices could range from approximately ₹10 lakh to ₹13 lakh ex-showroom.

Mahindra Thar Facelift

The Thar facelift has been spotted testing recently. A closer look at the pictures of the camouflaged test mule indicates fresh styling cues from the Thar Roxx, including a redesigned grille, round LED projector lamps, and a redesigned bumper. Expect a 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital-analogue instrument cluster, faux-carbon trims, and possibly wireless charging on the inside. The facelifted Thar is expected to continue with the same powertrain options, with prices ranging from ₹12 lakh to ₹18 lakh ex-showroom.

New Renault Duster

Duster fans can finally rejoice, as the car that started the compact SUV trend in India is confirmed for a return. Although powertrain options and features are yet to be confirmed, expect the Duster to get strong engines and the latest features like a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver's display, a 6-speaker Arkamys 3D sound system, cruise control, 6 airbags, and electronic stability control (ESC). As before, the Duster will rival the likes of the Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, and Elevate.

Tata Sierra EV

Priced in the ₹25 to 30 lakh range, this striking five-seater SUV features a bold design with an iconic nameplate. The Sierra EV could follow the trend of Tata’s production versions, retaining the majority of the concept’s design elements. Inside, a three-screen digital cockpit, four-spoke steering (like Harrier EV), ambient lighting, and Level 2 ADAS will elevate the experience. The Sierra EV is likely to be offered with a 60 kWh battery pack, targeting a claimed driving range of approximately 450 to 550 kilometres on a single charge. As it shares Tata’s Acti.ev platform that also underpins the Harrier EV, the Sierra EV could be available in 4WD guise.

MG Majestor

The Majestor is MG’s all-new full-size flagship SUV, positioned above the Gloster. It shares powertrain options with the Gloster, while the safety kit includes six airbags, ESP, TPMS, and an adaptive ADAS suite. It offers a bold design, a premium finish, and a dominant road presence. At around ₹40 to 45 lakh ex‑showroom, the Majestor will face tough competition from the segment-leading Toyota Fortuner.
