Honda is preparing to launch the facelifted City sedan and the new ZR-V SUV on May 22. A refresh for the City was much needed since its last facelift back in 2023, especially with the increasingly competitive sedan segment.

Meanwhile, bringing in a new SUV to the brand's portfolio in the country should give buyers an another option to choose other than the sole Elevate SUV.

Here are the expected specs and features of the upcoming 2026 Honda City Facelift and ZR-V in India:

2026 Honda City Facelift - What to Expect?

This will be the second facelift of the current fifth-generation City where expected changes to the exterior seems to be modest, consisting of updated headlights, tail-lamps and front grille, refreshed bumpers, and possibly new wheel designs.

The cabin is where major changes are more likely to arrive, a welcome move by Honda, as the sedan has been in the market long enough for its interiors in particular to feel age against better equipped competitors such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.

The cabin is expected to get a powered driver's seat and ventilated front seats, the latter being a feature the Verna and Slavia already offer. A larger infotainment touchscreen with updated software, a fully digital driver's display, and an optional 360-degree camera are also expected to be part of the facelift.

Meanwhile, Honda is not expected to touch the powertrain, and the sedan will continue on with its 121 hp 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol with a 6-speed manual or CVT, alongside the 126 hp 1.5-litre hybrid variant with its own CVT.

2026 ZR-V - What to Expect?

The ZR-V meanwhile, will be a fully imported (CBU) model and with it, Honda seems to be planning to up its premium game. It is expected to be priced between ₹40 lakh and ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq Lounge.

It is expected to carry the same dimensions as the global model, measuring approximately 4,568mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,620mm in height, and a wheelbase of around 2,657mm.

As for the features, it is likely to get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment (with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), 10.2-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charging, premium audio, and an enhanced Google integration in updated models. Dual-zone climate control, a powered driver's seat and tailgate are additional conveniences.

Meanwhile, higher variants is expected to feature wireless charging, and a Honda Sensing ADAS suite.

More importantly, the ZR-V is expected to get a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid powertrain, paired with an e-CVT, and will likely deliver 180 hp.
