Sierra EV will have near identical body styling to the regular Sierra, with the exception of a smoother EV specific front end. Plenty of spy shots have been circulated, and here is everything we have been able to figure out so far. Sierra EV test mules were mostly spotted in pairs, so expect at least two different battery packs or powertrains on offer. 

The battery pack will likely be borrowed from the Harrier EV minus a few kWh to keep the segmentation more robust.

“This year is also going to be an intense product action year for us. At least 2 new nameplates and 4 facelifts that we are going to launch…. 4 facelifts each for ICE and EVs, so it’s an intense product action year,” Chandra said.

The most recent spy shot showed us a Sierra EV test car marked EP50129 with MG Windsor style touchscreen and the the test driver operating a 360-degree camera. Another two features were also confirmed. Apart from these, the alloy wheels were also wearing camouflage, so Tata is likely working on new Sierra EV specific alloys.

As for the engine specs, you can expect anywhere from a 230-275 hp powertrain with a 60-70 kWh battery pack good for 350-400 km of real-world range.
