Tata Sierra EV vs Curvv EV: Which Electric Tata?

We have not personally driven the Sierra EV yet nor have we met someone who owns one so we cannot suggest why you should choose this based on experience. But based on specs a and other reviews here is our take.

The Tata Sierra EV is worth buying if comfort is your top priority. Reviewers consistently praise its suspension for soaking up broken roads, while the cabin remains quiet and composed even at highway speeds. The AWD version also performs surprisingly well off-road, and the effortless acceleration makes everyday driving feel relaxed. That said, it isn't the most engaging SUV to drive. 

Several reviewers found the steering lacking feedback, the accelerator calibration a little numb, and the SUV's 2.1-tonne weight becomes noticeable in corners. Early owners have also reported good build quality overall, although many still recommend a thorough pre-delivery inspection and caution that Tata's after-sales experience can vary significantly between dealerships

Tata Curvv EV

Choosing the Curvv EV is about right-sizing rather than settling. If your driving is genuinely city-based and you can plug in overnight, its smaller battery is not a limitation, it is simply the correct amount of battery, and it costs less and charges quicker as a result. The larger of its two packs is worth taking if you make occasional longer trips and would rather not plan around charging stops.

What you cannot buy your way around is drive: it is front-wheel drive throughout, so anyone wanting all-wheel drive has to move to the Sierra EV. Take the Curvv EV when the coupe styling appeals and you would rather not pay for range you will not use.
