The Tata Safari EV will be the brand's first three-row, fully electric SUV, riding on the same acti.ev+ platform that underpins the Harrier EV.

Visually, expect a closed-off grille, revised bumpers, EV-specific badging, and aero-optimised alloy wheels, setting it apart from the ICE Safari. The overall silhouette and bold stance, however, should carry over.

Inside, the cabin is expected to mirror the ICE Safari's three-row layout, with seven seats and the kind of feature list: large touchscreen, digital cluster, connected tech, that Tata currently offers across its EV range.

On the powertrain front, two battery packs: 65kWh and 75kWh, are anticipated, both sourced from the Harrier EV. The larger pack in AWD form is expected to produce around 291kW combined, with a claimed range marginally lower than the Harrier EV's 538-627km.

The suspension setup may also get a multi-link rear arrangement, a step up from the ICE Safari's torsion beam.
