The Maruti Suzuki WagonR Flex Fuel is the company's first E85-compatible passenger vehicle for the Indian market. Designed to run on fuel containing up to 85 percent ethanol, the hatchback supports the government's push towards cleaner and more sustainable mobility solutions. Visually similar to the standard WagonR, the Flex Fuel version features a modified powertrain capable of operating on varying ethanol-petrol blends. Maruti Suzuki claims flex-fuel technology can help reduce emissions while lowering dependence on imported fossil fuels. The WagonR Flex Fuel represents an important step in the brand's broader strategy involving ethanol, CBG, and other alternative fuel technologies. 

Maruti has not announced a sales launch date, bookings timeline, or pricing yet. This was more of a political commitment rather than real car launch, we will update as more official deatils come to light.
