The Maruti Suzuki WagonR Electric is expected to be a compact electric hatchback based around the familiar WagonR concept, but the production version’s design has not yet been revealed.

Maruti has confirmed plans to expand into smaller electric-car segments, with the WagonR EV among the models expected to form part of that broader line-up.

The car is expected to retain a five-seat layout and could become a more affordable alternative to larger electric models once launched.
