TVS iQube ST Overview

Updated September 2, 2026

The iQube ST is the version to look at if range is high on the priority list. Its 5.3 kWh battery is the largest in the iQube range and has a claimed IDC range of 212 km. It is offered in a single configuration, with the focus extending beyond the battery to a more extensive list of equipment.

The motor produces 6 hp and 33 Nm, with an 82 km/h top speed. The claimed 0 to 40 km/h time is 4.5 seconds, while Eco and Power riding modes are available. These figures are not much different from the other higher-spec iQube versions, so the ST's main distinction is what comes with the motor and battery rather than a big jump in performance.

The rider gets a 17.78 cm TFT touchscreen, which is the only touch-enabled display in the iQube range. It is joined by an HMI joystick, voice assist and music controls, while SmartXonnect adds turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, geofencing, crash and fall alerts and anti-theft alerts through the TVS app. A 950W portable charger is supplied as standard.

The ST also gets adjustable rear suspension and TPMS, with the latter being unique to this version. There is 32 litres of underseat storage, along with a USB charging port, while the scooter rides on 12-inch wheels and has 157 mm of ground clearance. Kerb weight is 128.8 kg.

Three colours are available, namely Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue-Beige and Copper Bronze-Beige.

Battery and Motor

The iQube ST uses a 6 hp motor that produces 33 Nm of torque. It has a claimed top speed of 82 km/h and takes 4.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h. Eco and Power modes are available, with no change to the motor output between the two settings.

The larger 5.3 kWh battery is the main reason for the ST's headline range figure. Its certified usable capacity is 4.8 kWh, while the claimed IDC range stands at 212 km. Charging from 0 to 80 percent takes 4 hours 30 minutes using the supplied 950W portable charger. Regenerative braking is standard.

The 212 km figure is based on the IDC test cycle, so it should not be treated as the distance the scooter will necessarily cover in everyday riding.

design

The iQube ST does not radically change the basic iQube shape. It retains the smooth body panels, upright proportions and relatively restrained styling used across the family. The front has an LED headlamp with integrated turn signal lamps, while the rear gets an LED tail lamp with the turn signals built into the same unit. A small visor sits above the front lighting.

The biggest change is around the handlebar. The ST gets a 17.78 cm TFT touchscreen, making it the only iQube with touch input on its display. An HMI joystick sits on the handlebar as well, providing another way to move through the menus and operate the scooter's functions. Voice assist and music controls are also part of the package.

The suspension consists of a telescopic fork at the front and an adjustable hydraulic twin-tube shock absorber at the rear. The 12-inch wheels use 90/90-12 tubeless tyres, while ground clearance is 157 mm. Braking is handled by a 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum.

There is 32 litres of underseat storage, with a USB charging port inside the compartment. Parking Assist provides both forward and reverse movement.

safety

The braking hardware of the iQube ST consists of a 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum, with neither ABS nor CBS offered. Regenerative braking is standard.

TPMS is the standout safety feature here and is unique to the iQube ST. It provides real-time information on tyre pressure, something the other iQube versions do not offer. SmartXonnect also brings crash and fall alerts, anti-theft alerts and geofencing, while Parking Assist supports both forward and reverse movement.

The battery and electronic components have water and dust resistance certification. Hill Hold is not offered on the ST.

competition

The iQube ST sits in a part of the electric scooter market where range, equipment and everyday usability matter as much as outright performance. Its rivals include the Ather Rizta S, Ola S1 Pro and, once available, the Ather Konarc Z 161 km.

The Rizta S takes a family-oriented approach of its own, with a focus on space and comfort and support for Ather Grid fast charging. Ather also has a well-established OTA update record. The iQube ST's biggest advantage on paper is its 212 km claimed IDC range, along with features such as TPMS and its extensive TVS service network.

The S1 Pro places more emphasis on performance, with a higher top speed and more aggressive performance figures. It also gets a large display and Ola's connected features. The iQube ST takes a different route, combining its 212 km claimed range with TPMS, an HMI joystick and adjustable rear suspension.

The Konarc Z 161 km is expected to bring AEBS braking, which is not available on the iQube ST. Its claimed 161 km range is also considerably lower than the TVS's 212 km figure. The ST's other notable advantages include TPMS and TVS's established service network.
