Charging

The Orbiter EV comes with a portable charger. Charging from zero to 80 percent takes about four hours, with a full charge completing in approximately five hours. The scooter does not support DC fast charging, making it best suited for overnight home or workplace charging. For daily city commuting, this setup provides sufficient flexibility, though riders planning longer trips need to schedule recharges strategically.

The Orbiter EV is equipped with key safety aids for city riding. It includes drum brakes on both wheels with a combined braking system (CBS), which provides controlled stopping power suitable for urban environments. The all-LED lighting improves visibility, while hill-hold assist prevents rollback on inclines. Additional features like a reverse mode and regenerative braking enhance safety and usability. The scooter’s lightweight chassis combined with stable suspension geometry contributes to secure handling in common city scenarios.

The Orbiter EV competes in the budget-friendly electric scooter segment, facing rivals like the Ola S1X+, Ather Rizta S, and Vida V2. The Ola S1X+ offers higher top speeds and faster charging but at a higher price point. The Ather Rizta S focuses on premium connected features and build quality but is less accessible to entry-level buyers. The Vida V2 is similarly priced but lacks the comprehensive smart feature set that the Orbiter provides.
