Maruti Suzuki’s popular premium hatchback, the Baleno, was recently spotted testing in India in its 2026 facelift form. The heavily camouflaged test mule, captured in mid-April 2026, revealed a sharper front fascia with updated headlamps and grille, along with subtle rear design tweaks including new tail lamps.

The facelift is expected in the second half of 2026 along with plenty more upcoming Maruti models, with possible new features like a sunroof solid safety rating, and refreshed interior 

It is highly likely it will have a Z series engine featured in recent Maruti cars like Swift and Dzire with 3 cylinder to comply with ever tightening emission standards. road testing means we can expect an official news on its launch in coming weeks along
