India's SUV market continued to grow in November 2025, fuelled by festive discounts and general demand for versatile, feature-rich vehicles suited for urban and off-road use.
Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and Hyundai led the pack, holding six of the top spots combined with Mahindra and Kia. Below is a breakdown of the top sellers, highlighting their sales figures and key specifications.

Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon led the SUV charts with 22,434 units sold in November 2025, achieving a strong 46% year-on-year growth from 15,329 units.
This compact SUV gets two engine options - a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 BHP and 170 Nm, and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel with 113 BHP and 260 Nm. The petrol Nexon can be had with a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, six-speed AMT, or a seven-speed DCT, while the diesel comes with a six-speed manual or AMT. A CNG option with a six-speed manual is also available for the budget-conscious.
Standard safety features comprise six airbags, ESP, and hill-hold control. The Nexon was the first Indian car to achieve 5 stars at Global NCAP. Its ex-showroom prices range from ₹8.00 lakh to ₹14.15 lakh.
Tata Punch
The Tata Punch secured second place with 18,753 units dispatched in November 2025, up 21% from 15,435 units the previous year.
This micro-SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine delivering 86 BHP and 115 Nm, or a CNG variant with 70 BHP and 103 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT options.
It includes dual airbags, ESP, and ABS with EBD as standard, and is Global NCAP 5-star rated. Prices start at ₹5.50 lakh and extend to ₹9.30 lakh ex-showroom.
Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta took third with 17,344 units in November 2025, marking a 12% rise over 15,452 units from last year.
It comes with multiple powertrain options - a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (113 BHP, 144 Nm), 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (158 BHP, 253 Nm), and 1.5-litre diesel (114 BHP, 250 Nm), with a six-speed manual, CVT, seven-speed DCT, or six-speed Torque Converter Auto.
Standard safety includes six airbags, ESP, vehicle stability management, and hill-start assist. The Creta is priced from ₹10.73 lakh to ₹20.20 lakh ex-showroom.

Mahindra Scorpio N
The Scorpio N ranked fourth, selling 15,616 units in November 2025, a 23% increase from 12,704 units in 2024.
This full-size body-on-frame SUV comes with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (200 BHP, 380 Nm) or 2.2-litre diesel (172 BHP, 400 Nm), both with 6-speed manual or automatic, and 4x4 on some diesel variants.
It features dual airbags, ABS with EBD, all-wheel disc brakes, and ISOFIX mounts as standard. Prices range from ₹13.20 lakh to ₹24.17 lakh ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Maruti's Fronx crossover stood fifth with 15,058 units in November 2025, showing a modest 1% growth from 14,882 units last year.
Powertrains include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (90 BHP, 113 Nm) mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT, or a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (100 BHP, 148 Nm) with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Standard safety covers six airbags, ESP, and ABS with EBD. The Fronx is priced from ₹6.85 lakh to ₹11.98 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza
The Maruti Brezza came in sixth, with 13,947 units sold in November 2025, down 5% from 14,918 units the prior year.
It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine (103 BHP, 137 Nm) and a CNG option (87 BHP, 121 Nm), available with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Safety suite includes six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, and hill-hold assist as standard. Prices span ₹8.26 lakh to ₹13.01 lakh ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris

Launched in September 2025, the Maruti Victoris quickly gained attention as the flagship product from Maruti’s Arena range, selling 12,300 units.
Powertrain options include a 1.5-litre petrol engine (102 BHP, 139 Nm) with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, a 1.5-litre petrol strong hybrid (combined 114 BHP) mated to an e-CVT, or an S-CNG (87 BHP, 122 Nm), with AWD on select petrol variants.
Standard safety includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, Traction Control, Hill Hold Assist, and ISOFIX seat mounts, earning a 5-star Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP rating. Prices for the Victoris range from ₹10.50 lakh to ₹19.99 lakh.

Kia Sonet
Kia's Sonet placed eighth, moving 12,051 units in November 2025, up 30% from 9,255 units last November.
It gets a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (118 BHP, 172 Nm) with a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT, a 1.5-litre diesel (114 BHP, 250 Nm) with 6-speed manual/TC automatic, or a 1.2-litre petrol (82 BHP, 115 Nm) with only a 5-speed manual.
Standard safety includes six airbags, ABS-EBD, ESC, and hill-start assist. The Sonet is priced from ₹7.30 lakh to ₹14.09 lakh ex-showroom.
Hyundai Venue

The Hyundai Venue, which received a major facelift last month, secured ninth with 11,645 units in November 2025, a 19% growth over 9,754 units from the previous year.
Engine options are shared with the Kia Sonet - a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. However, the Venue gets a 6-speed manual instead of an iMT with the turbo petrol.
It comes standard with six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, and ESP. Ex-showroom prices fall between ₹7.90 lakh and ₹15.69 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
The Grand Vitara rounded out the top 10, with 11,359 units dispatched in November 2025, up 12% from 10,148 units last November.
Powertrain options include a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid naturally aspirated petrol (102 BHP, 137 Nm) paired to a 5-speed manual or six-speed automatic, a petrol strong-hybrid (114 BHP), mated to an e-CVT. A 5-speed CNG option is also available with the mild-hybrid petrol. Select mild-hybrid petrol variants get AWD.
Standard safety features include six airbags, ESP, hill-hold, and hill-descent control. Ex-showroom prices for the Grand Vitara range ₹10.77 lakh to ₹19.64 lakh.
