Nissan Tekton

The Nissan Tekton is confirmed as the brand's all-new compact SUV, intended to challenge segment leaders like the Hyundai Creta, with a tentative launch window between May and July 2026. Its expected ex-showroom price is estimated to start from ₹10.00 Lakh and go up to ₹20.00 Lakh.
Sharing its platform and powertrain options with the upcoming Renault Duster, the Tekton could distinguish itself with a sharper design, featuring elements inspired by the Nissan Patrol, such as connected LED DRLs and C-shaped lighting signatures.
The feature list could be extensive, offering a large touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a digital driver’s display, and Level 2 ADAS.
Honda 0 EV

Honda is preparing to launch its first electric SUV under the new 0 Series banner in India by 2027, following its global debut in 2026. Revealed as part of Honda’s fresh EV strategy at CES 2025, the SUV showcases the brand’s “thin, light, and wise” design philosophy focused on efficiency and intelligent use of space. It will be built on a dedicated born-electric platform, offering rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants.
Battery capacity is expected between 80 kWh and 100 kWh, delivering an estimated 480 to 500 km range on a single charge. The SUV will feature Honda’s new ASIMO operating system, offering over-the-air software updates and advanced driver-assist functions with AI-based driving aids.
The design emphasizes aerodynamics with a clean front fascia, squared-off rear section for improved cabin room, U-shaped LED tail lights, and a panoramic glasshouse. Inside, a flat floor layout, minimalist dashboard, dual digital displays, and sustainable materials underline its futuristic appeal.
Initially, the SUV will arrive in India as a completely built unit before local production begins. Once launched, it will rival the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and BYD Seal U, signaling Honda’s serious push into India’s premium electric SUV market.
Honda CBU Imports

Honda is gearing up for a serious product wave in India, with multiple hybrids and EVs planned across different segments. The Prelude will arrive as a CBU hybrid coupe with a 2.0 litre petrol electric setup making around 200 hp and an expected price close to 80 lakh. The ZR V hybrid is also planned as a CBU with a 2.0 litre hybrid system and an estimated price between 50 and 60 lakh.
The Elevate Hybrid will be built locally from late 2026 using the 1.5 litre e HEV system and is expected to slot into the 14 to 19 lakh range. A three row hybrid SUV based on Honda’s PF2 platform is scheduled for 2027 with pricing likely around 28 to 32 lakh. Honda will also introduce the 0 Alpha electric SUV in 2027 with a battery between 60 and 75 kWh, a real world range target near 500 km, and an expected price band of 25 to 30 lakh
Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift

Maruti Suzuki appears to be working on a mid-life update for the Brezza compact SUV. The current model arrived in 2022 and has not received any major updates since, so a 2026 refresh fits the brand’s usual three to four-year cycle.
A new spy video from Gurgaon, shared by Car India News, shows a fully camouflaged Brezza test mule with a clear CNG sticker on the rear windscreen. This has sparked interest because it may finally address one of the biggest drawbacks of the current Brezza CNG. The existing model uses a traditional CNG cylinder that occupies most of the boot, leaving very little usable space.
The test mule suggests Maruti could be testing a revised CNG setup that improves practicality for everyday users.
Nissan Gravite

Nissan has unveiled the name of its new compact MPV. It will be called Gravite and will be built on the same CMF-A platform as the Renault Triber. It will use the Triber’s 1.0-litre petrol engine with manual and AMT options.
Going by its teaser, the Gravite gets a distinct front bumper, grille and fresh alloy wheels, along with a familiar three-row cabin featuring updated interior themes. Prices are expected to be close to the Triber, offering families an affordable seven-seat choice.
Volkswagen Tayron

The Volkswagen Tayron is set to make a significant entry into the Indian market in early 2026 as a premium three-row SUV, serving as the spiritual successor to the Tiguan Allspace. Expected to be priced between ₹45 lakh and ₹50 lakh, the Tayron will be locally assembled via the CKD route to compete with the Skoda Kodiaq and Toyota Fortuner.
Under the hood, it is likely to feature a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing approximately 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. The interior is expected to be a tech-heavy space, boasting a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, and premium additions like a 700W Harman Kardon sound system and a Level 2 ADAS suite for enhanced safety.
MG Majestor

JSW MG Motor India is set to launch the MG Majestor on February 12, 2026, as its new flagship ICE-powered SUV. Positioned above the current Gloster, this premium seven-seater is a rebadged and heavily updated version of the Maxus D90. It features a bold, upright design with a massive gloss-black grille, split LED headlamps, and 20-inch diamond-cut alloys. Inside, the luxury cabin offers twin 12.3-inch screens, Level 2 ADAS, and a panoramic sunroof.
Powering the SUV is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 212.5 bhp and 478.5 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with 4WD and low-range capabilities. Prices are expected to range between ₹40 lakh and ₹46 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Kodiaq RS

Skoda has unveiled the Kodiaq RS in India, marking its first fully performance-oriented SUV in the country.
Compared to the regular Kodiaq, the RS version gets a sportier look, with a new bumper with larger air intakes and a black grille up front. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, with red brake calipers. The rear bumper gets minor updates, including twin exhaust tips.
The cabin has an all-black theme with red stitching and RS badges on the seats, and most tech and safety features are carried over from the standard Kodiaq, with some added extras.
The Kodiaq RS uses a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
This sporty SUV will be a CBU import and is expected to launch by June 2026, with limited units available. Prices could range from ₹50 lakh to ₹60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift
The Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is set to launch in early 2026, likely between January and March, with some reports suggesting April.
Exact day and time are yet to be confirmed, though launches typically occur in late morning or early afternoon. The SUV will feature mild exterior updates, including a refreshed grille, new 18-inch alloys, and updated LED lights, while the interior gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital driver display, and revised centre console.
Mechanically, the 2.0L turbo-petrol and 2.2L diesel engines with manual, automatic, and 4x4 options remain unchanged. Expected prices range from ₹13.8 lakh to ₹24.8 lakh ex‑showroom.
