Hyundai India has confirmed the upcoming BAYON mid-size SUV, however the specs, pricing, and a full look at the car are still to follow in the coming weeks.

It is inspired by Bayonne, a city in France's Basque Country, chosen for its distinctive identity and spirit of adventure. Hyundai is positioning this car squarely around technology and intelligence, closing its name reveal film with the line “Intelligence ON.”

Tarun Garg, MD and CEO of HMIL, said,

“With Hyundai BAYON, we are introducing more than a new SUV. BAYON represents a new mindset - one that reflects our ambition to create experiences that are intelligent, intuitive and meaningful for our customers.”
