Honda City facelift Overview

The 2026 Honda City facelift is expected to bring mild but noticeable design updates to keep the sedan fresh in a competitive midsize segment. Changes are likely to include a revised front grille, updated bumpers, sharper LED headlamps, tweaked tail lamps, and new alloy wheel designs inspired by Honda’s latest global models. Inside, the layout should remain familiar, with improvements limited to new upholstery options, refreshed trim finishes, and added convenience features.
A 360 degree camera could be introduced, borrowing hardware from the Honda Elevate. The existing 8 inch touchscreen, semi digital instrument cluster, and sunroof are expected to continue.
Mechanically, the City should retain its current engines, including the 1.5 litre petrol producing 121 hp and 145 Nm with manual and CVT options, and the strong hybrid e HEV setup focused on efficiency. Honda Sensing ADAS and key safety features will likely remain unchanged for Indian market conditions overall.
