Tata Motors has introduced a new Air Console feature. Developed in partnership with KPIT Technologies and the Swiss company N-Dream (the creators of AirConsole), this in-car gaming platform is making waves as a new way to enjoy time inside your car while travelling with family or friends.
Offered exclusively on the new Sierra EV for the first four months, Air Console brings casual multiplayer gaming straight to the car's infotainment screen through the Arcade app.
Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. said:
"Bringing AirConsole’s in-car gaming experience to the Sierra.ev redefines what connected, immersive technology can add to the ownership experience. As the first vehicle in India to offer this capability, we are delighted to partner with AirConsole to deliver an entirely new dimension of entertainment and engagement for our customers.”
How to Use Tata's Air Console

Using the Air Console needs no extra gadgets.
You just have to scan a QR code shown on your car's screen with your smartphones, and the phone turns into a game controller right away. There is no complicated setup, no accounts to create, and no need to touch the main screen while driving or parked.
The system uses the vehicle's own screens, audio, and even its layout to create a shared, immersive experience that feels much better than playing on a phone or tablet alone.
At launch, there are around 15 games covering trivia, action, and party styles. A highlight is the Kaun Banega Crorepati game, which you can play with phones acting as buzzers and the big screen as the stage.

Air Console Availability
Air Console is offered as a premium feature within Tata's connected services subscription pack. In the Sierra EV, it appears on higher variants that include the full connected car features and advanced infotainment options, such as the Adventure and above trims with the larger battery pack.
KPIT acquired a major stake in N-Dream some time back, and this launch marks Air Console's entry into India. It is already popular in premium cars from brands like BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen in other markets.
Pushpahas Joshi, EVP at KPIT Technologies & Board Member at N-Dream, said:
“KPIT is very excited to bring AirConsole to India. This is going to be the first among several launches that will enhance consumer experience in the Cockpit of the future. I am very sure, that, owners of Tata cars & their families will enjoy the cool In-car gaming experience with AirConsole”
During family trips, traffic waits, or while charging your EV, Air Console turns the car into a mini entertainment hub. It keeps passengers happy, and adds real value to the ownership experience.
