The 450S is more affordable (₹1.3 lakh vs. ₹1.6 lakh) and offers a higher top speed (90 kmph vs. 82 kmph). Its traction control and sporty handling appeal to enthusiasts over the iQube ST’s family-focused design.

Bajaj Chetak Premium -  The Chetak Premium’s metal body offers superior build quality, and its 32-liter storage is more practical. Bajaj’s widespread service network outshines Ather’s, and its retro design has broader appeal. The 450S has a higher top speed (90 kmph vs. 73 kmph) and advanced features like traction control and a 7-inch LCD with navigation, compared to the Chetak’s basic display.

The 2025 Ather 450S is a well-rounded electric scooter for urban riders seeking a balance of performance, affordability, and modern tech. Its sporty handling, advanced safety features like traction control, and decent 85-100 km range make it a strong contender in the sub-₹1.5 lakh segment. However, its smaller storage, lack of ABS, and slightly firm ride hold it back against premium rivals like the TVS iQube ST or Ather 450X. Ideal for solo commuters and enthusiasts, it’s a great choice for those prioritizing agility and tech over family-oriented practicality.
