The BE 6 SPORTEQ uses a single rear-mounted electric motor across all variants, with outputs that vary by battery pack. The 59 kWh pack produces 170 kW (231 hp), the 70 kWh pack produces 180 kW (244.7 hp), and the 79 kWh pack produces 210 kW (285.5 hp).

Torque is a uniform 380 Nm across all configurations. Drive goes to the rear wheels only, with no AWD option in the lineup.

Multiple driving modes are available standard, including Default, Range, Everyday, Race, Custom, and Snow, while higher variants add Custom Drive Mode, Drift Mode, and a Revive function.

Additionally, the Formula E Freedom Edition includes an exclusive Acceleration Boost mode, which enables a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 6.44 seconds.

Under MIDC P1+P2 test cycles, the BE 6 SPORTEQ delivers a certified driving range of 548 km with the 59 kWh battery, 651 km with the 70 kWh pack, and 683 km with the 79 kWh unit.

All variants utilize a standard CCS2 charging port. Connected to a compatible DC fast charger, each battery pack can replenish from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes, requiring peak inputs of 140 kW, 160 kW, and 180 kW respectively.

For standard AC charging using an 11.2 kW unit, full 0 to 100% recharge times are rated at approximately 6, 7, and 8 hours across the respective pack sizes.

The base ONE variant gets Dual Super HD screens (31.24 cm x 2), while every other variant from TWO upward gets a coast-to-coast triple-screen setup, each screen at 31.24 cm. The FE and FE FOUR revert to the dual-screen setup with the halo-style instrument panel from the original BE 6.

The front row gets a height-adjustable driver seat, tilt and telescopic steering, and full auto temperature control with rear AC vents as standard. Mid-range variants add dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-fold ORVM, auto-dimming IRVM, and a front wireless phone charger.

Moving up the range, ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver memory seat, and acoustic laminated door glass come in. Top-spec variants add a one-touch driver window with up and down, approach unlock and walk-away lock.

The second row gets 60:40 split seats with two-step recline from the TWO variant, a 2nd row armrest, and BYOD mounting provisions from THREE onward.

The cabin is also offered in four distinct interior themes across the lineup. The options include a premium all-over Racing Tan, a sophisticated dual-tone Racing Tan & Black, a sporty Black & Firestorm Orange that features vibrant door accents, and a subtle, modern Sage Green & Grey combination.

Lastly, boot space stands at 455 litres with an additional 45-litre frunk.

The BE 6 SPORTEQ carries over the same fundamental body shape from the BE 6, measuring 4,371 mm in length, 1,907 mm in width, and 1,627 mm in height, on a 2,775 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance stands at 207 mm unladen, rising to 222 mm measured at the battery.

At the front, it features bi-LED headlamps with DRLs and the illuminated brand logo. The Formula E Freedom Edition takes a specific approach with the original BE 6 headlamp design and more purposeful front treatment with subtle tricolour detailing.

Along the sides, wheel sizes range from R18 aero covers on the entry variant to R19 alloys through the mid-range, with R20 alloys reserved for the FE and top-spec variants. The Launch Edition sits on R19s as well.

At the rear, the LED tail lamps carry a signature C-shape with pixel animation. Meanwhile, motorised flush door handles and a power tailgate with gesture control come on higher variants.

The Launch Edition is finished exclusively in Graphite Storm, while the entire FE range is offered only in satin-finish colours.

The BE 6 SPORTEQ features 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, brake-by-wire tech, an intelligent electronic brake booster, driver drowsiness detection, ESP, a rear-view camera with parking sensors, iTPMS, and an electronic parking brake.

Mid-range variants add a 540-degree camera, manual drive video recording, individual tyre pressure monitoring, and front parking sensors. Further up, L2 ADAS arrives with one radar and one vision camera, along with front fog lamps, cornering lamps, and auto booster lamps.

Top-spec variants step up to L2+ ADAS with five radars and one camera, and also get the Secure360 Pro system, which adds live view with audio relay, intrusion alert, a continuous DVR, and a knee airbag.

The BE 6 SPORTEQ's closest rivals are the Tata Curvv EV, and the BYD Seal.

The Curvv EV undercuts it on price and benefits from Tata's established EV service network across India, which remains a practical advantage in smaller cities. The BE 6 SPORTEQ counters with much more claimed range, a more feature-dense cabin at comparable price points, and stronger performance on the top-spec variants.

The Seal offers superior acceleration and an available AWD powertrain that the BE 6 SPORTEQ currently lacks entirely. However, the SPORTEQ brings considerably more in-cabin tech through its MAIA AI architecture, the Gemini-powered TEQ Talk system, and a wider variant spread that gives buyers more entry-point flexibility.
