Mahindra Charge_iN Expands to 50 Stations, Targets 250 Sites by 2027

Quick Read - The first HPCL-backed Charge_iN station is now operational on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, with Mahindra planning 250 stations and around 1,000 charging points by December 2027.
Mahindra’s Charge_iN public EV charging network has expanded to 50 live stations across India, with the network now crossing 200 charging points.
The latest station is at the HP Auto Care Centre in Sajgaon, Pune, on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. It is the first Charge_iN station to go live under Mahindra’s collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

First Charge_iN station under HPCL collaboration
Mahindra and HPCL announced their agreement in March 2026 to develop EV charging infrastructure at HPCL retail outlets across India. Several more stations under the collaboration are currently at various stages of development and construction.
The Charge_iN station is now spread across key routes in North, West and South India, with locations including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai.
180 kW chargers across major highway corridors
All Charge_iN stations use 180 kW dual-gun chargers. Mahindra claims these can charge its electric SUVs, the XEV 9e, BE 6 SPORTEQ and XEV 9S, from 20 to 80 per cent in around 20 minutes. Stations are placed along major highway routes and typically positioned near food outlets and cafes.
Charge_iN is open to all EVs
The Charge_iN network is accessible to EV owners across brands through the Charge_iN by Mahindra app, Me4U app and leading aggregator platforms. It will also be available on the HP eCharge app soon.
Mahindra EV owners can access approximately 35,000 public charging points, including HP eCharge stations, across different charge point operators through the Me4U app.
