MG Majestor (February 12)

The MG Majestor is among the most anticipated SUV unveilings of early 2026, with JSW MG Motor confirming its official public debut on February 12, 2026. This event will mark the first full reveal of the SUV, while the price announcement and showroom launch are expected to follow shortly after. Positioned as a premium D-plus segment SUV, the Majestor will sit above the Gloster and take direct aim at the Toyota Fortuner.
Power is expected to come from a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing around 218 hp and 480 Nm of torque in the 4x4 version, paired with an automatic gearbox. In terms of design, the Majestor adopts a much more upright and boxy look compared to the Gloster, drawing inspiration from the global Maxus D90 with a large octagonal grille and vertically stacked LED headlamps.
The cabin is expected to be feature-rich, highlighted by a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated and massaging seats, and premium interior materials aimed at buyers seeking a more luxurious ladder-frame SUV experience.
Nissan Tekton (February 4)

The Nissan Tekton represents a key product in Nissan’s plans to rebuild its presence in India. A global reveal is widely expected around February 4, 2026, following official confirmation of the name and early design teasers from the brand. While the unveil is imminent, the full market launch is expected later in the first half of 2026.
Built on the Alliance CMF-B platform shared with the upcoming Renault Duster, the Tekton sets itself apart with what Nissan describes as a Baby Patrol design approach. This includes a squared-off stance, bold surfaces, C-shaped LED lighting signatures, and a prominent Tekton badge on the bonnet.
Engine options are expected to include a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit, with strong expectations of a petrol-hybrid variant to rival models like the Grand Vitara. With an estimated price range of ₹11 lakh to ₹19 lakh, the Tekton aims to challenge segment leaders by offering a more rugged, global SUV character along with modern features.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is finally expected to launch this month, following multiple delays. This is Maruti's first born-electric vehicle, with deliveries expected to commence soon after. It targets the compact EV space and rivals options like the Tata Curvv EV.
Power comes from dual battery packs that provide a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge. The e Vitara features a modern look with a closed grille, slim LED lights, and aerodynamic alloy wheels.
The interior offers a premium setup with a fully digital driver display, a large central touchscreen, and cooled front seats. Safety features will include multiple airbags and Level 2 ADAS for safer journeys.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is one of the most-awaited EVs in February 2026. Toyota will bring this model to showrooms soon, offering a practical choice for urban drivers. Sharing underpinnings with the e Vitara, it positions itself in the mass-market EV category, competing with vehicles like the Hyundai Creta EV.
The powertrain includes two battery choices for up to 543 km of range, along with a subscription-based battery plan to lower upfront costs. Design elements include unique bumpers, pixelated LED lamps, and a sleek profile.
Interior highlights include twin digital screens, soft-touch materials, and ventilated seating. Safety will be covered by multiple airbags and electronic safety aids, along with an ADAS suite.
BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro (February 16)

The BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro will be the sportiest X3 on sale in India, slated for February 16 launch, arriving at showrooms soon after. This variant will appeal to enthusiasts seeking performance, and will slot into the luxury compact SUV category, challenging models like the Mercedes GLC.
It is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo petrol unit delivering 255 hp, paired to an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive for quick acceleration to 100 kmph in roughly six seconds. It features a sporty design, with aerodynamic lines, distinctive alloys, and a dynamic stance.
Inside, it offers a curved digital interface, a high-quality sound system, a wide sunroof, adjustable powered seats with cooling, and semi-autonomous safety tech.
Volkswagen Tayron R-Line

The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line is expected to launch this month. Volkswagen will roll it out to dealers following the announcement, targeting families who need space and style. It competes in the upper mid-size segment against the Skoda Kodiaq and Toyota Fortuner.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive for balanced handling. The exterior showcases connected LED elements, a clean profile, and sporty R-Line details.
The cabin is minimalistic, yet modern, with a big 15-inch display, a driver-focused screen, cooled and adjustable seats, multi-zone climate, and a projection display. Safety covers multiple airbags, ADAS tech, and a 5-star Euro NCAP rating.
