Several cars priced below ₹8 lakh now offer factory-fitted LED headlamps, but Tata Motors dominates this list with five entries. Here are the five affordable options currently on sale in India.

Tata Punch

The Punch stands out in this list because its base Smart trim gets LED headlamps as standard, so there is no need to move up the range for them. Its exterior retains the butch micro-SUV stance, with squared-off wheel arches and a compact footprint.
Inside, the Smart keeps things simple with a 4-inch digital driver display and manual climate control, while higher variants get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and more equipment.
The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated Revotron three-cylinder petrol engine produces 88 PS and 115 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual.
Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill-hold assist, TPMS and ISOFIX. It also received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
Tata Tiago

The Tiago gets a sharper front end with revised headlamps, grille and bumpers, with LED headlamps and DRLs starting from the Creative trim.
Inside, the Creative gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, a four-speaker system, rear AC vents, a cooled glovebox and auto-folding ORVMs.
The 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 86 PS and 113 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual in this variant. The range also offers an AMT and factory-fitted CNG.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, traction control, hill-hold control, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX and a 360-degree camera with blind-spot monitor.

Tata Altroz

The Altroz gets LED headlamps from the Pure trim, while the base Smart uses halogen projectors. Its sharp exterior is matched by a wide cabin with premium-looking surfaces, a 7-inch Harman touchscreen, automatic climate control and a digital instrument cluster.
Pure also gets a rear-view camera, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine producing 88 PS and 115 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual.
Safety includes six airbags, ESP, ISOFIX and three-point seatbelts with reminders as standard. The Altroz has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. Its wider cabin and feature list add to its appeal.
Tata Nexon

The Nexon brings SUV proportions, a raised stance and LED headlamps with DRLs to the list from its base Smart petrol variant. The Smart keeps the cabin functional with a full digital instrument cluster, air conditioning, front power windows, adjustable headrests and flip-and-fold rear seats, while the touchscreen and other convenience features arrive higher up.
Its 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine makes 120 PS and 170 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual on the Smart.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, ESP, ISOFIX and rear parking sensors. The Nexon also has a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, based on the current model's 2024 assessment.
Its 208mm ground clearance adds to the SUV's practical appeal.

Tata Aeris

The Aeris brings a redesigned three-box body with a new grille, sculpted bumper, rectangular LED headlamps and a cleaner rear.
LED headlamps start from the Creative trim, while the lower Smart, Pure and Pure Plus variants use halogens.
Inside, Creative gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, fabric upholstery, wireless charging, keyless entry, a 360-degree camera and blind-view monitor.
The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine produces 86 PS and 113 Nm, with 5-speed manual and AMT options.
