Tata Sierra Dark Launched At Rs 13.99 Lakh, Check Prices

Tata has launched the Sierra DARK at a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakh ex-showroom. The special edition gets an all-black Friesian Black exterior paired with Purple Chrome accents and a Violet Eclipse full leatherette cabin, while retaining the standard Sierra's feature and powertrain options.

The Sierra DARK is available across all six personas, from Pure L to the top-spec Accomplished+. Prices go up to Rs 21.59 lakh for the Accomplished+ with the 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel and automatic gearbox.

What Is Different About the Sierra Dark Edition

The DARK edition does not add new features or equipment over the standard Sierra. What it brings is a distinct visual treatment across the exterior and interior. Outside, the entire body is finished in Friesian Black, with Purple Chrome detailing integrated at specific points across the car rather than applied as a general accent strip.

This dark treatment extends to the alloy wheels as well, with R17, R18 or R19 Dark theme alloys depending on the variant. The exterior also gets a DARK mascot, along with Light Saber LED DRLs and tail lamps that retain the Sierra's distinctive lighting signature.

Inside, the cabin switches to the Violet Eclipse theme, a full leatherette treatment in dark tones with subtle violet accents, and DARK branding embossed on the headrests.

Tata Sierra Dark Features and Safety

Since the DARK edition carries over the complete Sierra feature package by variant, the features available depend on which persona is chosen. Pure L gets the 10.25-inch touchscreen, 6 airbags, drive modes and cruise control.

Meanwhile, Accomplished+ adds the Horizon View triple screen, L2+ ADAS with 22 features, 12 JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, powered tailgate and iRA 5G telematics, among others.

Safety wise, it holds its 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.

Tata Sierra Dark Engine and Gearbox Options

On the engine side, all three Sierra powertrains carry over unchanged. The 1.5L NA Revotron petrol makes 106 PS and 145 Nm, the 1.5L TGDi Hyperion petrol puts out 160 PS and 255 Nm, and the 1.5L Kryojet diesel produces 118 PS with 260 Nm on the manual and 280 Nm on the automatic.
