Nissan has launched the Magnite AMT with a dealer-fitted CNG retrofit kit, expanding its CNG lineup to 11 variants. Apart form Tata Tiago and Tigor its among the handful of cars that come with this combination
The retrofit CNG kit is government-approved and priced at ₹71,999 (inclusive of GST). It’s available for both manual (MT) and AMT versions of the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Nissan is offering a 3-year or 1,00,000 km warranty on the CNG setup when installed through authorized dealers.

A major improvement is the redesigned CNG refueling system. The valve has now been repositioned to the regular fuel lid, making refueling easier and more user-friendly. The CNG retrofit program currently covers 13 states, including Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh.

With petrol prices remaining high, the CNG-powered Magnite offers up to 30 percent lower running costs while maintaining the practicality and features of a compact SUV.
