Hyundai Bayon Bookings Open at Rs 11,000, Launch Set for Festive Season

Hyundai has opened bookings for the Bayon at Rs 11,000. The 4.2-metre mid-size SUV is scheduled to arrive this festive season, but Hyundai has not announced its launch date or final price.
Bookings are open on Hyundai India's website and at authorised dealerships. The company says the delivery timeline will be communicated when the Bayon is launched.

Bayon Design, Features and Safety
The exterior gets H-Edge LED DRLs, 17-inch geometric dual-tone alloy wheels, wrap-around door cladding, geometric wheel arches, bridge-type roof rails and a sculpted bonnet.
Inside, its main technology highlight is an in-built generative AI voice assistant, which Hyundai says enables more natural interaction between the driver and vehicle.
On the safety side, Hyundai says the Global K Enhanced Platform is engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards, based on its internal assessment.
Bayon Engine
The Bayon will use a petrol powertrain with Manual Transmission and Intelligent Variable Transmission options. Hyundai has not revealed the engine displacement or power figures.
Though not confirmed yet, it is also expected to get a factory-fitted underbody CNG.

Bayon Rivals
The upcoming Bayon will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
