The Aura has six trim levels in total - E, Corporate, S, SX, SX+, SX(O), with the petrol lineup opening at ₹5.99 lakh and closing at ₹8.29 lakh. Here, the petrol AMT is restricted to S and SX+.
Whereas, the CNG lineup runs from E to SX (four variants), all manual.
Also, the SX(O) at ₹8.09 lakh and the SX+ at ₹8.29 lakh (most expensive) sit within ₹20,000 of each other but represent fundamentally different propositions: SX(O) is the better-equipped petrol manual, meanwhile SX+ is simply the AMT counterpart of the SX, bringing more relaxed driving experience.

Every Aura, regardless of variant, gets 6 airbags paired with ABS and EBD, front seat belt pretensioners with load limiters, three-point belts across all seats, rear parking sensors, a speed alert system, a seatbelt reminder for every seat, and an engine immobiliser.
For a car priced from ₹5.99 lakh, this is a meaningful baseline where the Dzire nor the Amaze offers this at equivalent price points. That alone reshapes the Aura's value equation for safety-conscious buyers.
Crash test wise, the Aura does not have an official NCAP rating yet, but is expected to score similarity with the Grand i10 Nios (similar platform), which received 2 stars in Global NCAP.
On the comfort side, every variant gets motor-driven power steering, front power windows, a front 12V power outlet, and a driver's seat height adjustment.
Also, many instrument cluster readings are standard, though distance to empty and fuel consumption readings are not uniformly available (they drop off on Corporate and are petrol-only on S and SX).
Coming to the exterior, all variants feature LED taillamps, body-coloured bumpers, and a rear chrome garnish, including footwell lighting and front and rear door map pockets in the cabin.
The dimensions and mechanicals are also shared across: 3,995 mm length, 2,450 mm wheelbase, suspension, gas-type shock absorbers, and brakes.
Lastly, performance depends on your fuel choice: the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine delivers 83 PS and 113.8 Nm, while the bi-fuel CNG configuration drops to 69 PS and 95.2 Nm.

Who Should Buy The Hyundai Aura E Base Model?
The E is the right starting point if safety coverage is your primary concern and touchscreen infotainment is not. The 6-airbag standard makes it one of the safest base-spec compact sedans you can buy at this price.
The package is predictably minimal otherwise. You get manual AC, front power windows only (no rear), rear parking sensors, driver seat height adjustment, and a basic 3.5-inch MID cluster.
There is no touchscreen, rear power windows, keyless entry, rear defogger, tilt steering, and rear AC vents. The 14-inch steel wheels are also exactly what you'd expect at this price.
The petrol E makes sense only for buyers who clock under 40 km daily and want a reliable, low-running-cost vehicle without feature expectations.
The CNG E meanwhile at ₹6.90 lakh is the stronger financial argument, as at 60-80 km daily city use, the ₹90,000 premium over petrol recovers itself over time, though you will feel the power drop acutely in merge traffic.

Aura Corporate Model

Who Should Buy The Hyundai Aura Corporate Model?
The Corporate is the most unusual variant in the Aura lineup. It packs a larger feature set than the E: a 6.75-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth and steering-mounted audio controls, rear AC vents, keyless entry, LED DRLs, a rear spoiler, rear defogger, 15-inch styled steel wheels, a rear centre armrest, among other features (check the Corporate spec table below), all in a single step from the base.
But it loses the MID readings for distance to empty, average fuel consumption, and instantaneous fuel consumption. For a fuel-conscious CNG buyer, that omission is somewhat frustrating.
It is positioned as a petrol variant at ₹6.84 lakh, just ₹1,500 under the S, and at ₹7.85 lakh in CNG, primarily for fleet and institutional purchases.
Also, the 6.75-inch touchscreen is unique to this trim, which gets replaced by a 2-DIN system on the S (priced above it), which is a baffling step backwards in the variant hierarchy.

Aura S Model

Who Should Buy The Hyundai Aura S Model?
The S is where things get complicated. Priced just ₹1,500 above the Corporate petrol, it's the first variant to offer the AMT gearbox, at ₹7.38 lakh. It is also available in CNG at ₹7.76 lakh.
The headline addition over Corporate is the restoration of the MID fuel economy readings (distance to empty, average and instantaneous consumption), only for petrol variants.
That's useful data for ownership cost tracking that Corporate buyers were oddly denied.
However, there's a real infotainment regression to flag: the S replaces the Corporate's 6.75-inch touchscreen with a 2-DIN audio system with AM/FM.
If media controls via a touchscreen matter to you, the Corporate's head unit is better, which makes the S best evaluated purely on its AMT availability, not on its tech stack.
If going for S, the AMT at ₹7.38 lakh is the most practical choice in the lower half of the Aura range for city-heavy drivers who want an automatic without spending ₹8 lakh+.

Aura SX Model

Who Should Buy The Hyundai Aura SX Model?
The SX is the variant where the Aura becomes a properly complete car. For ₹78,500 over the S petrol MT, you get ESC with VSM, Hill Start Assist, a rear camera, projector headlamps, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic temp control, and other additions (check table below to know more).
ESC/VSM and HAC are helpful in real-world driving, and the rear camera alone addresses one of the most common complaints about the lower trims.
However, cruise control and luggage lamp are available on petrol variants only, and the wireless phone charger is limited to the AMT variant of this trim (SX+), not in SX manual.
The SX CNG at ₹8.54 lakh is expensive for what the CNG engine delivers in this class. Unless your daily run is heavily city-dominant and the fuel economics are compelling, the petrol SX MT at ₹7.64 lakh is the clear value pick within this trim.

Aura SX+ Model

Who Should Buy The Hyundai Aura SX+ Model?
The SX+ is the SX with an AMT gearbox, and that is functionally its entire reason for existence. At ₹65,000 over the SX petrol MT, you gain the 5-speed smart auto transmission, and the two features that were AMT-locked in the SX: wireless phone charging and Hyundai's Eco-coating technology.
Compared to the top-spec SX(O), which is priced ₹19,000 lower at ₹8.09 lakh, the SX+ (just as the SX) doesn't get the ISOFIX child seat anchor, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, automatic headlamps, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (reverting to wired).
The SX+ is the right choice if you prioritise automatic convenience over top-spec features. But if you're a manual driver and want the most complete package the Aura offers, the SX(O) at ₹8.09 lakh delivers more features for less money.
The SX+ only wins on the strength of the gearbox alone.

Who Should Buy The Hyundai Aura SX(O) Model?
The SX(O) is for buyers who drive a manual and want everything the Aura can offer, as there's absence of AMT and CNG options here.
Over the SX and its AMT counterpart SX+, the SX(O) adds ISOFIX child seat anchors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, automatic headlamps, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Also, features that were conditionally available on the SX/SX+, such as wireless phone charging, Eco-coating, cruise control, luggage lamp, and the full fuel economy MID readings, all arrive here.
But the colour options gets reduced to just two, which is odd by Hyundai.
At ₹8.09 lakh, it costs ₹45,000 more than the SX MT and sits ₹19,000 below the SX+ AMT. That pricing relationship is the key decision point: the SX(O) is objectively better-equipped than the SX+ for less money.
If you strictly want an automatic, get the SX+. If you drive a manual, the SX(O) is unjustifiably passed over.

The Hyundai Aura comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km, whichever occurs earlier. This covers defects in material and workmanship, including repair or replacement of most mechanical and electrical components at no cost at authorized dealerships.
