Tata Aeris Revealed in Full, New Interior and Exterior Details Explained

A full walkaround video of the Tata Aeris has surfaced online just a day before its launch, revealing the production car in much greater detail. The car appears to be the iCNG version, giving us a closer look at areas Tata had not shown in its teasers.
Full Aeris Design Seen for the First Time
The full design of the Aeris has been revealed, confirming its notchback-like profile, large rear quarter glass and pronounced shoulder line. Up front, the slim LED headlamps sit above a dark grille panel with the Tata logo, while the lower bumper gets black detailing and C-shaped elements.
It gets pull-type door handles, black ORVMs and new dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the rear, the connected LED tail-lights sit above spaced-out AERIS lettering, while the number plate is mounted lower on the bumper. The roof ends in a spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp.

Aeris Cabin Finally Revealed
The cabin shown reveals a manual gearbox with a typical gear lever and manual handbrake, along with a large centre storage area and cup holder. The front doors also get four power window switches and an electric ORVM adjustment control.
The rear cabin is now visible for the first time, showing a light-coloured bench seat with three visible headrests and three-point seat belts. There is also no visible rear centre armrest in the Aeris shown.
The video also gives a better look at the front seats, glovebox and the two-tone dashboard. The touchscreen, digital instrument cluster and overall dashboard layout match Tata's earlier teaser.

Aeris Launch and Powertrain
The Aeris is set to launch on September 25. It is expected with the 1.2-litre petrol and CNG powertrains, with five-speed manual and AMT options.
Aeris Rivals
The Tata Aeris is set to rival the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze, once launched.
