Skoda Peaq EV Interior Teased With New Sketches

Skoda has revealed interior details of its upcoming Peaq electric SUV via sketches. These sketches were teased ahead of the Peaq's unveiling, which is set for Tuesday, June 23.

Being Skoda's biggest electric SUV so far, the Peaq is likely to come with a roomy and lounge-style 7-seater cabin featuring a unique horizontal design. This is evident in features such as the straight line of the windows that extends to the third row, along with a well-curated design of the dashboard.

Its front seats are expected to come with extended side bolsters, owing to a bucket seat-like design. Additionally, the co-driver seat is likely to receive an electrical adjustment and an extendable thigh support.

The sketch also flaunts a wide panoramic glass roof. The interior is similar to the new 'Lodge' concept that, as stated by Skoda, blends soft textile surfaces with sturdy tactile elements.

Interior materials are also reported to feature easy-care finishes for the sake of practicality.

The Skoda Peaq is most likely to be the first Skoda to be equipped with a large freestanding vertical infotainment touchscreen.

Besides the touchscreen, the Peaq’s dashboard is also expected to feature a two-spoke steering wheel with the Skoda logo, a small driver’s digital display, a floating centre console, a flat dash top, a full-width design for AC vents, wireless charging pads, an adjustable armrest, and quite a lot of storage space.

Skoda claims that the Peaq's interior will feature these toggle switches for climate controls, volume adjustments, and other essential vehicle controls.

Exact details about the Peaq should be revealed on its June 23 unveiling.
