Skoda Elroq: All You Need to Know

The Skoda Elroq is an electric SUV that sits below the larger Enyaq in Skoda's global lineup, and uses the MEB platform. Spanning about 4.4 meters in length, it offers a practical option for families and urban drivers.

The Elroq follows Skoda's Modern Solid design language, with slim LED Matrix beam headlights, a flat Tech-Deck face, and a sloping roofline for better aerodynamics. It comes in colours like Timiano Green, and higher trims add sporty accents.

Its interior uses sustainable materials and includes a spacious layout with a 470-litre boot that expands to 1,580 litres. Key features cover a 13-inch infotainment screen, augmented-reality head-up display, three-zone air conditioning, massage seats, and multiple storage spaces.

The Skoda Elroq offers battery sizes of 50 kWh, 60 kWh, or 85 kWh. Skoda claims the 85 kWh battery pack delivers around an estimated 490 km of range on a single charge. Power outputs vary, with the 85x model reaching 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. The top-end 85x variants also get an AWD drivetrain.

Charging supports up to 185 kW DC, allowing a 10-80% charge in just 25 minutes through a public DC charger for the largest battery. An 11 kW AC home charger does the same in just under six hours. A dual-motor RS variant is also offered for more performance.

The Elroq has earned a five-star Euro NCAP rating, with its structure providing strong protection. It includes advanced driver-assistance systems like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and automatic emergency braking. Its LED Matrix headlights improve night visibility.

The Skoda Elroq is sold in several European countries, including Switzerland, the UK, Germany, and Denmark, where it was the top seller in 2025. Outside of Europe, it has been on sale in Australia since mid-2025. Prices start from around 33,000 euros in some markets, making it an affordable choice in its segment.

Skoda has not yet launched the Elroq in India, but the Czech carmaker is evaluating it for the market, with a possible debut in the second half of 2026. If, and when introduced, it could start at around 45-50 lakh rupees and compete with models like the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Skoda had showcased the Elroq at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.
