Kia India has released a teaser on social media suggesting the debut of its upcoming hybrid three-row SUV, the Sorento.
Kia Sorento: What We Know So Far
The Sorento will boast a vertical front design with T-shaped LED headlights and an expansive Tiger Nose grille. It features a sloped back window and upright LED taillights.
It is expected to get a contemporary interior with two screens, a panoramic sunroof, cooled front seats, and advanced driver assistance systems.
The Kia Sorento comes with various powertrain choices internationally, such as a 2.5-litre petrol, a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid, and a plug-in hybrid.
In India, Kia may provide the 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid variant combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Kia Sorento Expected Price And Launch Date
The Kia Sorento will be positioned as the brand's flagship SUV in India, sitting above the Seltos.
It is likely to be priced between ₹45 lakh and ₹55 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it in direct competition with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron and the Jeep Meridian.
While Kia has only released a teaser for now, the Sorento is expected to make its India debut in the coming months.
Bookings could commence shortly after its official unveiling, with deliveries likely to begin before the end of the financial year, depending on whether the SUV is brought in as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) or assembled locally.
