Kia India has introduced the Syros EV, its latest electric SUV.
The new model starts at Rs 13.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 20 lakh for the top variant, making it the most affordable EV from Kia in the country so far.

There is also a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option that brings down the initial cost to Rs 7.99 lakh, with battery usage charged at Rs 3.3 per kilometre.
The car features a modern design with LED lighting, flush door handles, and up to 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, it has a large 30-inch panoramic display, premium audio system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and Level 2 ADAS safety features.
The Syros EV comes with two battery options, shared with the Hyundai Creta Electric and the Kia Carens Clavis EV. The standard 42 kWh pack offers a range of 443 km, while the larger 51.4 kWh battery provides up to 526 km on a single charge, as per MIDC testing.

The 51 kWh unit is powered by a 171 hp electric motor, capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. It also supports 100 kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 10-80% in about 39 minutes.
Safety suite includes six airbags, Level 2 ADAS with 16 autonomous driving functions, a 360-degree camera, blind view monitor, front, rear and side parking sensors, ESC, hill start assist, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Buyers get attractive ownership benefits. Every Syros EV comes with a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner. Kia has also introduced an assured buyback programme offering up to 80% resale value after three years for early buyers.
Deliveries of the Syros EV will commence from July 30. It will compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.
