Hyundai Bayon Exterior Design Teased, Reveals LED Lights and Alloy Wheel

Quick Read - The Bayon teasers reveal a slim full-width LED DRL strip up front, split wraparound LED tail-lights at the rear, and a distinctive honeycomb-pattern 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheel. The car is expected to be priced between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 14 lakh.

Hyundai has released some close-up teaser shots of the Bayon's exterior, following the design sketches it had shared earlier. The teasers show the front LED DRLs, front side views, the rear tail-lights, and the alloy wheel design of the upcoming midsize SUV.

Up front, the Bayon gets a slim, near-full-width horizontal LED DRL strip that runs along the bonnet line. The strip stops in a brighter rectangular LED block, forming an inverted L-shape at the edges. It is a clean, wide-set layout that makes the front look wider than it likely is on paper.

At the rear, the tail-lights follow a similar design. A slim horizontal LED strip sits on the tailgate, while a separate squarish LED cluster sits at the outer edge of each light unit.

The 17-inch alloy wheels are probably the most eye-catching detail in the teasers. They use a honeycomb pattern with polygon-shaped cutouts clustered around the centre, finished in a dual-tone machined silver and dark grey. It is a busier design than what you typically see at this price point, and it suits the Bayon's crossover character.

Expected Launch, Price and Rivals

Hyundai is positioning the Bayon as an Intelligent Utility Vehicle, and a festive season debut is expected. The car is likely to be priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh. It will likely rival the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
