Quick Read - Aeris comes in Smart, Pure, Pure+, Creative and Accomplished variants, with Pure+ being the sweet spot as the first to get ESP, Creative adding the 360-degree camera, and Accomplished bringing ventilated seats and a factory dashcam.
Tata Motors has launched the Aeris, a compact sedan it says will be sold only to private buyers and never to fleets. Introductory prices run from ₹5.29 lakh to ₹9.74 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
It effectively takes over from the Tigor, sharing its 2,450 mm wheelbase and 419-litre boot, while taxi buyers move to the separate Xpres-T brand. Rivals include the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol making 86 PS and 113 Nm, or the iCNG version with 75.5 PS and 96.5 Nm. Both get a 5-speed manual or AMT, except the base Smart, which is manual only. Claimed fuel efficiency figures are yet to be announced.
Six airbags are standard, but ESP only comes from Pure+, while the 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and a factory dashcam are saved for the top two variants.
Here is every Aeris variant explained.

Aeris Smart

Smart gets six airbags, ISOFIX and rear parking sensors, but it has no audio system at all. Central locking, all four power windows, a rear defogger and electrically adjustable mirrors only arrive from Pure.
The bigger miss is ESP and hill hold, which Tata holds back till Pure+. For a sedan that will do highway trips with family on board, that is a serious gap.
Tata says the Aeris will never go to fleets, yet the Smart is equipped like one. Pick it only if the budget truly cannot stretch.

Aeris Pure

Pure fills the gaps in Smart with central locking, all four power windows, a rear defogger, a height adjustable driver seat and Bluetooth audio through the cluster. There is still no touchscreen, so your phone does the navigating.
ESP, rear AC vents and a reversing camera are still missing. That matters because Pure+ adds all three and much more for a small step up in price.
Its one case is as the cheapest Aeris AMT. But the Pure AMT and Pure+ manual cost almost the same, and the Pure+ is the far better car.

Aeris Pure+

Pure+ is the variant most Aeris buyers should pick. ESP with traction control, hill hold and tyre pressure monitoring arrive here, completing the safety package that six airbags alone do not cover.
It also brings the features you will use daily, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reversing camera, rear AC vents, cruise control and a 65W Type-C charger up front.
What you give up is mostly comfort and looks, with halogen lamps, manual AC and no alloys. One catch is that the CNG AMT misses out on cruise control, which highway users should note.

Aeris Creative

Creative is where the Aeris starts looking and feeling like a premium sedan. LED headlamps, connected tail lamps, the 26.03 cm screen, automatic climate control and keyless entry with push start all arrive together.
The 360-degree camera and Blind View Monitor are the real reasons to pick it, especially if you park on crowded streets or crawl through dense city traffic every day.

Wireless charging is still missing, which feels odd at this level. CNG buyers should also know their Creative keeps R14 Hyperstyle wheels, since the diamond-cut alloys are petrol-only.

Aeris Accomplished

Accomplished is for buyers who want everything and drive through harsh summers. It brings ventilated front seats. The factory dashcam, wireless charging on a dual phone deck, iRA connected features and the dual-tone roof round it out. These are nice additions, removing the need for a dashcam and charger from aftermarket process.
The top CNG AMT version comes close to higher versions of the Dzire and Amaze, so compare before signing. For most buyers, Creative covers the features that matter.
