Yamaha Motor India has launched the updated Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid with a notable design refresh, priced from ₹76,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The update is centred on a redesigned rear end that makes the scooter appear more compact and contemporary, with Yamaha's in-house R&D team in India responsible for the changes.
Commenting on the upgrade, Mr. Hajime Aota, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group, said:
“The journey of Yamaha’s Fascino reflects our unwavering dedication to evolving with our customers. While our 1.5 million production milestone stands as a powerful testament to the trust placed in our products, we remain committed to pushing boundaries. As the preferences of today’s youth shift toward more diverse and sophisticated expressions of style, the new Fascino has been thoughtfully transformed into a trendsetting, unisex mobility solution.”

What’s Changed Compared to the Old Fascino

The most visible change is at the back. The tail section has been resculpted, and the taillights, flashers, and the distinctive Viconic taillight design are all new.
The overall length now measures 1,780 mm, trimmed down compared to the previous version, making the Fascino look more agile without altering its core character. New decals round off the visual update.
Yamaha says these changes were driven directly by customer feedback.
Yamaha Fascino 2026 Features
Across all variants, the Fascino gets telescopic front suspension, a side stand engine cut-off, and 21 litres of under-seat storage.
The top-spec Fascino S adds a colour TFT instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and the Answer Back function for locating the scooter in a crowded parking lot.

Yamaha Fascino 2026 Engine, Hybrid System & Performance
The updated Fascino carries over its Hybrid 125cc fuel-injected 4-stroke engine. The hybrid system comprises the Smart Motor Generator (SMG), Silent Start, Stop & Start System (SSS), and Enhanced Power Assist.
Together, these deliver stronger acceleration from standstill, on climbs, and when carrying a pillion, while keeping fuel consumption in check. The scooter is E20 fuel compatible.
The Fascino has crossed 1.5 million units in cumulative production, and this 2026 update keeps the powertrain unchanged and directs its attention to the styling.
It rivals the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, and TVS Jupiter 125, among other 125 cc scooters.
