Bajaj has launched the updated Pulsar NS200 at Rs 1,60,374 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle gets more power, ride-by-wire, traction control, riding modes, a bidirectional quickshifter and a new TFT display. The update comes as Bajaj celebrates 25 years of the Pulsar brand, with the price rising by around Rs 20,771 over the outgoing top variant.
More Power and New Electronics
The Pulsar NS200 retains its 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine, but maximum power has increased by 1 PS to 25.5 PS. Peak torque remains unchanged at 18.74 Nm. The electronic throttle body enables riding modes and traction control, while the bidirectional quickshifter allows clutchless upshifts and downshifts under suitable conditions. Bajaj has not yet detailed how the riding modes differ.

The new 5-inch colour TFT replaces the outgoing model's semi-digital instrument console. It supports smartphone connectivity, while a USB Type-C port adds charging convenience. The motorcycle also gets Panic Brake Alert, which flashes the hazard lights during hard braking.
The front suspension has been upgraded to a 37mm upside-down fork, and the rear tyre now uses radial construction. The rear monoshock and disc brake sizes remain unchanged.
