Exterior
Visually, the Tata Harrier EV retains the fundamental silhouette and aggressive stance of the ICE-powered Harrier facelift introduced in 2023, but it gets distinct EV-specific cues to set it apart.
The most obvious change is the closed-off front grille, finished in a cleaner, more aerodynamic design.
This sealed fascia not only helps reduce drag but also brings the Harrier EV's styling in line with Tata's EV family, such as the Punch EV and Nexon EV. Just below the grille is a revised front bumper with a linear, blade-like pattern that adds a touch of modernity.

Moving to the sides, the Harrier EV rolls on a new set of 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels. These not only aid in airflow but also complement the SUV's muscular profile. There's subtle ‘EV’ badging on the front doors to distinguish it from its ICE sibling, while the rear section remains largely unchanged, save for the new ‘Harrier.EV’ script on the tailgate.
Dimensionally, the Harrier EV is slightly larger than the standard Harrier. It is 2mm longer, a significant 210mm wider, and 22mm taller, although it retains the same 2,741mm wheelbase. This added girth may contribute to better cabin comfort, but the design proportions remain balanced.
Tata is also offering a special Stealth Edition of the Harrier EV, finished in a blacked-out theme inside and out, much like the carmaker’s popular Dark Edition series. It adds more visual drama for buyers looking for an aggressive, all-black aesthetic.

Interior
Step inside the Harrier EV and the layout might feel familiar if you’ve seen the ICE version, but it’s been enhanced with several subtle yet meaningful updates. The dashboard carries forward the dual-tone layout, but now integrates a larger infotainment screen and sleeker materials that elevate the cabin feel.
The four-spoke steering wheel is a fresh addition, featuring an illuminated Tata logo at the centre, which lights up when the vehicle is started. Ahead of it sits a fully digital driver display that provides driving information, navigation, ADAS alerts, and EV-specific readouts like battery charge and energy flow.

The centre console has seen refinement too. The climate control interface is now touch-based, offering a sleeker and more modern interaction. Further down, the rotary drive selector feels premium, and there's a neatly integrated electronic parking brake.
Interior space remains generous thanks to the SUV's wide body, and boot capacity stands at a healthy 502 litres. Fit and finish are visibly improved, with leatherette inserts and contrast stitching across the cabin. For those opting for the Stealth Edition, the interior is dominated by black tones with subtle metallic highlights for a more performance-oriented vibe.

Infotainment and Features
The Harrier EV pushes the envelope in infotainment tech by debuting a 14.53-inch Samsung Neo QLED display, a world-first in the automotive world. This screen delivers superior contrast, clarity, and brightness — ideal for navigating, media playback, and accessing EV-specific data. Right next to it sits the digital instrument cluster, making the layout feel cohesive and modern.
The infotainment system also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, and Tata’s connected car platform adds functionality such as live vehicle diagnostics, geo-fencing, remote climate control, and smartphone integration. A 10-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos 5.1 creates a deeply immersive listening experience — a rare offering in this segment.

Some standout features include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) capability, which allow the Harrier EV to charge external appliances or even other EVs. Another smart addition is DrivePay, a contactless in-car payment system for tolls and EV chargers, eliminating the need for a mobile device.
The SUV is also equipped with a 540-degree camera system, which goes beyond the usual 360-degree view by warning drivers if any wheel nears a kerb. A built-in dashcam, auto park assist, six terrain modes, and an all-digital IRVM round off the exhaustive feature list.

Powertrain and Battery

Under the skin, the Tata Harrier EV rides on the Acti.ev platform, which it shares with the Punch EV and the upcoming Curvv EV. The entry-level variant comes with a 65kWh battery powering a single rear-mounted motor delivering 238hp to the rear wheels. This version caters to those looking for decent performance and long range in a simpler RWD layout.
For buyers looking for outright performance and capability, the higher trims pack a 75kWh LFP battery and dual-motor AWD layout, producing a combined 396hp and 504Nm of torque. This makes it the first Tata in years to feature an AWD system — a nod to the ruggedness once offered by the Safari Storme.
In terms of range, the RWD 75kWh variant delivers 627km (MIDC) and a real-world range of 480–505km, according to Tata’s in-house C75 testing protocol. Charging times are competitive, with the 7.2kW AC home charger taking 10.7 hours (10–100%) and a 120kW DC fast charger replenishing the battery from 20–80% in just 25 minutes.
