Quick Read - Nissan is waiving CNG retrofitment charges on select Magnite and Gravite variants, saving buyers up to Rs 85,999, while alternative benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh are available.

Nissan is allowing buyers of selected Magnite and Gravite variants to get their vehicles converted to CNG without paying the usual retrofitment cost.

The offer runs until November 16, 2026, and is particularly relevant for buyers considering the naturally aspirated petrol versions of these two models.

Which Magnite And Gravite Variants Are Eligible?

The Magnite has a wider eligibility window, covering most of its naturally aspirated petrol range. However, the entry-level Visia MT, Visia EZ-Shift and Visia+ MT are excluded, along with every turbo-petrol variant.

On the Gravite, the free conversion is restricted to the Tekna and Tekna Launch Edition configurations.

MagniteAcenta, N-Connecta, Kuro Edition, Tekna and Tekna Plus (non-turbo versions)

For the Magnite, eligible AMT versions are also covered, provided they are not among the excluded configurations. The offer is therefore not limited to manual variants.

What Do You Get With The CNG Conversion?

Both models use a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as the basis for the conversion. However, the installation has a particularly interesting packaging arrangement on the Gravite.

The three-row MPV gets two CNG cylinders, each with a 25-litre capacity, instead of a single larger cylinder. This arrangement allows it to retain its seven-seat configuration with all three rows available.

The Magnite, meanwhile, uses a conventional retrofitment arrangement for its five-seat layout. Its petrol engine develops 72 PS and 96 Nm, although Nissan has not published specific CNG-mode power or mileage figures for the offer.

Both conversions use government-approved kits developed and quality-assured by Motozen, a third-party supplier. The kits carry a separate warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes first, alongside the standard manufacturer warranties.
