Quick Read - A new grille, Edition One badges and a red-and-black cabin set this Scorpio N apart, while its engines are expected to remain unchanged.
Mahindra is preparing another special version of the Scorpio N, with an undisguised example of the SUV spotted at a dealer yard ahead of its expected launch. Called the Scorpio N Edition One, the special edition brings a fresh exterior treatment and a noticeably different cabin colour scheme, building on the SUV's recent feature update.
New Grille And Edition One Badging

The most prominent exterior change is a redesigned front grille, which gets a different pattern from the standard Scorpio N. Its design appears to take inspiration from the Scorpio Lifestyler pickup, giving the SUV a distinct front-end appearance without altering its familiar overall styling.
The other identifying detail is the Edition One branding on the D-pillars. These special badges distinguish the edition from the regular variants, while the rest of the exterior appears to retain the existing Scorpio N design.

Dark Red And Black Interior Theme

The cabin gets a more noticeable makeover, with a dual-tone dark red and black treatment replacing the existing brown-and-black colour combination.
This gives the special edition a different visual identity without suggesting a completely redesigned dashboard or interior layout.

The spotted SUV also appears to be based on a higher-spec variant. As a result, it could carry over equipment such as dual digital displays, automatic climate control, Level 2 ADAS, connected car technology, wireless charging, ventilated front seats and an electrically adjustable driver's seat.
No Mechanical Changes Expected
Under the bonnet, the Scorpio N Edition One is expected to retain the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Both powertrains are currently offered with six-speed manual and automatic transmission options, depending on the variant.
The diesel range also offers a four-wheel-drive configuration on select trims. However, it remains to be seen whether Mahindra will extend this option to the Edition One.

Expected Price And Launch
The Mahindra Scorpio N Edition One is expected to launch soon, although the carmaker has not announced an official unveiling or launch date.
In terms of pricing, the special edition could command a premium of up to Rs 1 lakh over its corresponding standard variant. It is also expected to be offered in limited numbers, following the approach Mahindra has taken with several of its previous special editions.
