Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Overview
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 comes in standard and high-spec Recon variants, both using an electric motor with a ride-by-wire throttle, with the latter delivering up to 40.2 hp and 100 Nm, and achieving 0-60 kmph in 2.8 seconds.
While sharing a 155 kmph top speed, their IP67-rated battery packs differ - the Recon supports DC fast charging and boasts an IDC-estimated range of up to 323 km.
Structurally, it features a steel trellis frame with an aluminium bulkhead, upside-down front forks, and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock.
Both variants share identical dimensions—a 1340 mm wheelbase, 800 mm seat height, and 160 mm ground clearance—and use 320 mm front and 230 mm rear hydraulic discs with dual-channel Bosch ABS.
Tech features center on a 5-inch TFT Linux-based display with full connectivity (LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) alongside rider aids like hill hold, park assist, and find-my-bike.
Lastly, color options include Laser Turbo Red, Laser Afterburner Yellow, Shadow Stealth Grey, Shadow Cosmic Black, Airstrike Supersonic Silver, and Airstrike Stellar White.
Battery and Motor
The F77 Mach 2 features an electric motor with a ride-by-wire throttle, delivering performance that varies by variant up to a shared 155 kmph top speed.
The standard model has a 7.1 kWh battery pack and produces 36.2 hp and 90 Nm of torque, achieving 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and 0-100 kmph in 7.8 seconds.
The Recon meanwhile, with its 10.3 kWh battery pack increases the output to 40.2 hp and 100 Nm, slightly lowering these sprint times to 2.8 and 7.7 seconds.
RANGE AND CHARGING
Three selectable ride modes - Glide, Combat, and Ballistic - directly manage power and efficiency. On the standard model, the IDC-estimated 211 km range translates to real-world figures of 183 km (40 Wh/km) in Glide, 144 km (52 Wh/km) in Combat, and 128 km (60 Wh/km) in Ballistic.
Thanks to a larger capacity, the Recon extends its IDC range to 323 km, yielding 266 km, 209 km, and 186 km across those same respective modes.
To recapture energy, dynamic regenerative braking offers three levels on the base variant (expandable to 10) and a full 10 levels standard on the Recon.
Charging via the standard unit adds 35 kmph (20-80% in 3 hours for standard, 5 hours for Recon), while an optional boost charger increases this to 75 kmph (20-80% in 1.5 hours for standard, 2.5 hours for Recon). Both configurations also support DC fast charging.
safety
The F77 Mach 2 features dual-channel Bosch ABS, Dynamic Stability Control, hill hold, and a side-stand sensor as standard safety equipment. Also, traction control is optional on the standard model, whereas the Recon variant includes a four-level system.
This electronic safety suite can be further expanded with optional add-ons, including tyre pressure monitoring, anti-collision warnings, and crash alerts.
For visibility, the bike features auto-dimming LED headlights with ultra-V position lamps, dual LED taillights with a central brake light, and front/rear hazard lights.
Additionally, the battery is backed by a five-level or higher safety system that provides mechanical, thermal, electrical, electronic, and software protection.
competition
The F77 Mach 2 competes closely with other performance electrics such as the Revolt RV400 and Oben Rorr.
The Revolt RV400 is offered at a lower price point and features a simpler ownership experience with swappable batteries in some setups, targeting urban commuters. The F77 Mach 2 counters with higher power and torque, quicker acceleration, greater range on the Recon variant, and a more premium build featuring an aviation-inspired design and advanced electronics.
While the Oben Rorr delivers competitive acceleration and strong mid-range torque, Ultraviolette counters with higher-spec suspension hardware, superior braking components - including standard Bosch ABS on both variants - a higher top speed, and a more advanced feature set that includes a custom OS and extensive connectivity options.
pricing and features
The F77 Mach 2 is equipped with a multi-function 5-inch TFT display paired with tactile input switch consoles on both handlebars. It runs on UV Automotive Linux OS and offers LTE connectivity with integrated eSIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS/GLONASS.
Conveniences include Park Assist, Find My F77, Deep Sleep mode, and Charge Limit function. Meanwhile, optional smart features comprise Violette A.I., Delta Watch, Lockdown, and Daily Ride Analytics.
The bike also supports over-the-air updates through its connected systems.
