TVS has added a Doctor Doom edition to its Raider 125 Super Squad lineup, priced at Rs 95,320 ex-showroom, a premium of Rs 750 over the other Super Squad variants.
It is the fifth Marvel character to join the series, following Iron Man, Black Panther, Deadpool and Wolverine since the collaboration began in August 2023, and the Super Squad range has now crossed 5 lakh cumulative sales across the Raider and NTorq in those three years.
The launch was timed around special screenings of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, making the Doctor Doom theme an obvious fit given the character's prominent role in the film.
What's New

The only change here is the paint. TVS calls it Spectral Green, a multi-tone finish that reads green in direct light and shifts to brown at different angles, drawing from Doctor Doom's metallic armour and dark green attire.
Looking at the bike, the tank reads as a deep forest green while the panels lean olive-brown, and the Doctor Doom mask graphic on the side panel is surprisingly restrained rather than loud, which keeps it from looking like a child's sticker job. The green rim tape is a small touch that pulls the whole thing together.

For a 125cc commuter at this price, that kind of finish is somewhat uncommon. Most rivals in this segment top out at flat or metallic single-tone colours. The front cowl, fuel tank extensions and rear panels carry this shade, with black components filling in the rest.
Mechanically, nothing has changed. The 124.8cc three-valve engine puts out 11.4hp and 11.7Nm, paired with iGO Assist for smoother acceleration and a connected reverse LCD cluster with over 85 functions.
Rivals
The Doctor Doom edition competes with the Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda SP125 and Bajaj Pulsar N125.
