Honda Rebel 300 Launched in India at Rs 2.22 Lakh, with E-Clutch Option at Rs 2.62 Lakh

Honda has launched the Rebel 300 in India at Rs 2.22 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 2.62 lakh for the E-Clutch version, both prices ex-showroom. Bookings are open at Honda BigWing dealerships nationwide for a token of Rs 5,000, and deliveries are set to begin from mid-October 2026.
Both variants share a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The E-Clutch variant allows clutchless gear changes while still keeping the clutch lever available for manual use, which is particularly useful in city traffic.
The ADV160 scooter has also been launched at Rs 1.70 lakh, marking a significant launch day for Honda in India.

Design and Positioning
The Rebel 300 is Honda's entry-level cruiser under the BigWing umbrella. Its design takes clear cues from the larger Rebel 500, with a teardrop fuel tank, a low-slung flat seat, blacked-out components throughout, and an exposed tubular steel frame.
It is a modern bobber, not a retro bike in the Royal Enfield sense, and it is priced to compete squarely in the 350cc cruiser space.

Rivals
Rebel 300's closely competes with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which starts at around Rs 2 lakh. The Rebel is priced above it but brings a liquid-cooled engine, a more modern feature set, and the E-Clutch option that the Meteor does not offer. It targets a buyer who leans towards the international cruiser look rather than the classic retro style.
