Honda ADV160 Launched in India at Rs 1.70 Lakh With E85 Flex-Fuel

Honda has launched the ADV160 maxi-scooter in India at Rs 1.70 lakh, ex-showroom, Bangalore. It goes on sale through both Redwing and BigWing dealerships, with deliveries expected to begin around mid-October 2026.
The ADV160 is India's first scooter to run on flex-fuel, meaning it accepts anything from standard E0 petrol to an E85 ethanol blend via Honda's FlexTech system. For anyone planning to keep their scooter for the long haul, that fuel flexibility is worth paying attention to.
Powering it is a 156.9cc, single-cylinder, water-cooled engine making 16.09 bhp and 14.9 Nm, paired with a CVT. An idle stop-start system also helps in stop-and-go city riding.

Features and Kit
The 5-inch TFT display includes Honda RoadSync connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth pairing. It also features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), keyless ignition, a USB-C charging socket in an accessible cubby, and an 8.1-litre fuel tank.
The 27-litre under-seat storage is the largest in the segment and fits a full-face helmet. Add front handguards, a tall adjustable windscreen, and dual LED headlamps, and the package reads more maxi-scooter than sport scooter.

Booking and Rivals
Bookings are open at Rs 5,000 and is fully refundable, with deliveries from mid-October 2026. Honda notes that full specifications will be published in Q4 2026.
Competition wise, the ADV160 sits Rs 25,000-30,000 above the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160, its most direct rivals. The Aprilia SR 175 and TVS Ntorq 150 also compete loosely at lower prices.
It is the only scooter in this space with E85 flex-fuel, a water-cooled engine, dual disc brakes, and traction control together. The Hero Xoom 160 is the closest in ADV intent but misses all four. The Aerox offers sportier character but cannot match the storage or feature count.
