Hero MotoCorp showcased the sketch of its most anticipated road-legal adventure bike to date, the Xpulse 421, at EICMA 2024.
Since then, there had been minimal progress in that regard, and currently, the Xpulse model is offered in two versions: the air/oil-cooled Xpulse 200 and the latest liquid-cooled 210.
However, the Xpulse 421 was recently spotted testing camouflaged at Khardung La in the Ladakh region, and the spyshots revealed quite. afew details.
Similar to the existing 210 versions, the larger 421 features more ADV-like design elements, including a huge front windscreen, stylish and athletic body panels, a large tank that slopes downward towards the rider's seat, and a bulky upswept exhaust.

This new Xpulse 421 will sport a completely new liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, claimed to tout a displacement of 400cc or above. Exact power output figures are still unclear, but based on similar options in the market, we anticipate the power figures could be around 40hp and 40 Nm of torque.

Besides Hero’s largest liquid-cooled engine to date, the Xpulse 421 also features an all-new chassis and off-road-oriented hardware developed from the ground up. A long-travel USD fork and a monoshock handle suspension duties.
We can also see that it features large wire-spoke wheels equipped with tubed tyres. The rear tyre looks quite wide, and the sidewall also seems to be rather thick.
