Bajaj New Adventure Bike with KTM DNA Spotted Testing

Bajaj looks finally ready to enter the adventure motorcycle segment with its own model, after a test mule from the bike maker was spotted testing recently on Indian roads. The test mule looked almost production-ready, suggesting a debut or a full launch soon.

The bike has a strong adventure look with a raised front fender, long single-piece seat, and upright riding position. It appears ready for tough rides like Ladakh trips.

Its overall shape is quite similar to the KTM 390 Enduro R, but it comes with a larger fuel tank for better touring range. It also shares its tail light and swingarm with the Pulsar NS200.

Under the body, the engine casing looks similar to KTM’s latest units, and it is likely that powering the bike will either be a 250cc or a new 350cc engine. The 350 seems more probable as it will offer good performance for long rides while benefiting from the lower GST tax slab for bikes under 350cc.

The bike features long-travel suspension, spoke wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear), and an upswept exhaust. It was also seen with a top box, yet there is enough space for a pillion.

This Bajaj ADV is expected to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh, which would make it more affordable than the KTM 390 Adventure. Its other rivals would include the TVS Apache RTX 300 and the Suzuki V-Strom SX .
