Government Releases Revised CAFE III Draft Norms For Public Consultation

The draft introduces phased fuel-efficiency targets, a compliance credit trading mechanism, and incentives for EVs, hybrids, and flex-fuel vehicles, while also recognising ethanol and biofuels as carbon-neutral for the first time.
