Design and Styling
The new Sierra is said to combine classic appeal with a modern twist. Based on leaked patents and concept designs and auto expo concept it will have a sturdy upright silhouette and a high bonnet that gives it a bold road presence and plenty of headroom, cargo room for rear passengers.

The front could carry a large grille, slim LED daytime running lights across the width, and stacked projector headlamps for a sharp look, along with rugged skid plates. On the side, the Sierra will retain its iconic wraparound rear windows, creating a floating roof effect.
Flush door handles, blacked-out pillars, and possibly 19-inch alloy wheels on higher variants could enhance its aerodynamics and stance. Measuring around 4.3 meters in length, it would balance city-friendly proportions with off-road capability.
At the rear, connected LED taillights, a sculpted tailgate, and a solid bumper could complete the design, staying true to the original while keeping things fresh.
Interior and Features

Inside, the Sierra is expected to feel like a high-tech lounge with your usual go-to stuff like a panoramic roof, 2 touchscreen setup and advanced connected features with ADAS
Tata’s connected iRA system may support wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and over-the-air updates. Comfort features could include ventilated leatherette seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a premium JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos. T
The Sierra is likely to be a five-seater with generous boot space and flexible folding seats. Safety features may include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and Level 2 ADAS functions such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. Given Tata’s recent record, a five-star crash rating would not be surprising.
Performance and Powertrain

The electric variant is expected to debut first, built on Tata’s Gen 3 platform. It may offer battery options providing between 400 and 500 km of range, along with fast charging and the choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. For those preferring traditional engines Tata will likely use its existing powertrains. A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit producing about 170 PS and 280 Nm of torque is likely, paired with manual or automatic transmissions.
Diesel fans might see a 2.0-litre engine delivering around 170 PS and 350 Nm, similar to the one used in the Harrier, with an expected fuel efficiency of 15–18 km/l. Transmission options could include 6-speed manuals, 7-speed DCTs, or torque converters.
