Exterior design changes to the Verna include a black chrome radiator grille, revised dual LED projector headlamps and redesigned front and rear bumpers with added detailing. It also features fresh 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The connected tail-lamps and boot spoiler stay the same.

Hyundai Verna 2026 Interior
The most noticeable visual change to the interior is a new D-cut steering wheel featuring the updated Hyundai logo, which was also seen on the 2025 Venue facelift.

Leatherette seat upholstery is standard, along with an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat that now includes a memory function and a welcome-retract feature. The front passenger seat gets four-way power adjustment and a segment-first electric walk-in device, often called Boss mode.
Other additions include a rear-window sunshade, an integrated dashcam, and a smart trunk that offers 528 litres of space. The dual 10.25-inch screens carry over.
Hyundai Verna 2026 Safety Features
Safety upgrades are notable. Higher variants now come with seven airbags, including a centre one, plus a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor and Level 2 ADAS with around 20 functions.

Hyundai Verna 2026 Engine Specifications
The Verna remains mechanically unchanged, retaining its platform and proven 1.5-litre petrol engines - a naturally aspirated unit producing 113 bhp and 143 Nm torque, and a turbocharged version delivering 158 bhp and 253 Nm.
Transmission choices remain a six-speed manual and a CVT for the naturally aspirated engine, and a seven-speed DCT for the turbo.
These updates are expected to help the Verna better compete against rivals like the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
