Toyota Innova Hycross Facelift Spotted Testing For The First Time

A heavily disguised prototype of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross facelift has been spotted testing for the first time in Kerala.

While the MPV's signature silhouette remains familiar, the camouflage suggests several aesthetic and functional updates are underway for this mid-cycle refresh.

Expected Design and Tech Updates

The updated Innova Hycross may get a refreshed front with angled headlights and a redesigned grille. It could also receive reworked bumpers and minor design adjustments at the rear, such as updated LED taillights.

The alloy wheels on this specific test mule feature an identical design to the existing version, though production models often introduce new wheel options.

Inside, the facelift is expected to come with improved technological features, most notably an upgraded ADAS package.

However, no mechanical revisions are anticipated, and the MPV will retain the same 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrains.

Expected Arrival and Rivals

The Innova Hycross facelift is expected to launch in late 2026 or early 2027. Speaking of rivals, it stacks up against cars like its rebadged twin, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, as well as premium three-row SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
