The new Toyota Hilux is expected to debut in India next month with a complete makeover right from the exterior to the interior.
This lifestyle pick up truck's next generation model premiered worldwide in November 2025. A couple of weeks ago, it was seen during a commercial shoot in New Delhi.
The 9th-generation Hilux features a more angular and sharper appearance. It features a honeycomb grille complemented by slim LED headlights linked by a black accent, robust fenders, a revamped tailgate, and C-shaped LED tail lamp clusters.

Inside, the updated Hilux features a completely redesigned dashboard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen positioned centrally, a refreshed 3-spoke steering wheel, and a digital gauge cluster. It features ventilated front seats, a wireless charging pad, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.
In India, the updated Hilux is anticipated to feature the same 2.8-litre diesel engine as the previous version. It may be combined with a 48V mild-hybrid system that was introduced in the Fortuner last year.
