Tata Punch Facelift Will Be Revealed On 13 January

Tata Motors has confirmed that the Punch facelift will launch on 13 January 2026, with teaser images showcasing a noticeably updated design influenced by the Punch EV and Tata’s newer SUVs.

The refreshed model features a sharper front end with slimmer LED DRLs, redesigned headlamps, a new grille, revised bumpers, updated alloy wheels, and refreshed rear lighting, giving the micro SUV a more premium and contemporary look.

Mechanically, the Punch facelift is expected to continue with the existing 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engines, while the cabin is set to receive major upgrades. These are likely to include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new two-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a more modern dashboard layout.

Update- Tata has officially teased that the new Punch facelift will get a Turbo Petrol engine. Expect around 100-110 hp and 125-130 nm of torque. It will likely be a detuned sepcs of one used in Altroz.

On the safety and technology front, features such as a 360-degree camera and possibly ADAS on higher variants are anticipated.

Additionally, spy images indicate six airbags as standard, ventilated front seats on select trims, auto-folding ORVMs, and an expanded feature list aimed at strengthening its position against rivals like the Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Maruti Ignis.
